Felicia Miller helps deliver complete care at Aspire assessing patient nutrition and wellness needs and creating a custom plan to achieve patient health goals. She evaluates nutrition health and wellness and educates patients on food cooking, menu composition, and meal planning.
Naturally, Felicia loves food and has a healthy respect for what it can do for the body, mind and spirit. Food is an integral part of everyone’s life and something we all have in common. She enjoys demystifying nutrition and meal planning, which can be a roadblock to healthy living for so many people.
When working with clients, Felicia considers their preferences, lifestyle, goals, and medical needs when creating a nutrition and wellness plan specific to them. A customized nutrition plan that considers the person as a whole is much more likely to be adopted, stuck with, and enjoyed.
Felicia has over 20 years in the field of nutrition and dietetics from medical settings to retail grocery. She has worked in rehab, in-patient and outpatient clinical settings, so her experience includes both clinically acute patients as well as wellness clients.
Sharing cooking and recipe tips and tricks with clients is a way Felicia breaks the ice and open people’s minds to eating better. Working closely with friends and loved ones through health concerns and diseases has given her first-hand appreciation and insight into the real challenges and stressors that need to be taken into consideration when creating a nutritional wellness plan.
In her free time she enjoys cooking, baking, and experimenting with new ingredients and cooking techniques. She is somewhat of a skilled interior decorator and a volunteer with the Central PA Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
