Marissa Edwards is a Physician Assistant at Aspire. Prior to joining the team, Marissa worked for 13 years as a PA in emergency medicine and family medicine as well as urgent care. She earned her Masters in Physician Assistant Studies from Arcadia University and her Bachelors in Biology from Messiah College. Marissa is also NCCPA certified.
Marissa was drawn to the medical field at a very young age. Because of the interactions she had with her medical providers growing up, she knew she one day wanted a career where she could be involved in the process of helping others be well. It’s Marissa’s joy to serve others and help them improve and preserve their health.
What drew Marissa to Aspire was how patients come first. Everyone on staff works together as a team and shares the same passion and dedication for serving patients. This creates a work environment that is both uplifting and fulfilling.
In her free time, Marissa enjoys spending time outdoors with her family. She resides in Mechanicsburg with her husband, Kyle, and children, Paisley and Carter.
